ITINERARY
About This Trip: The Humantay Lake is a sapphire hidden within the rugged Salkantay range. Reaching an altitude of 4,200 meters, this trek offers a rewarding challenge with a visual prize that is unparalleled in South America. Our journey begins in the quiet village of Mollepata and leads us through ancient trails where the air is pure and the views are dominated by snow-capped giants. Whether you are an avid hiker or a landscape photographer, this trek is a mandatory stop on your Cusco itinerary.
Itinerary - Day 1
04:30 AM: Private pickup from your hotel in Cusco.
07:30 AM: Arrival at Mollepata for a delicious, energizing breakfast.
09:30 AM: Arrival at Soraypampa to begin the 1.5 to 2-hour ascent.
11:00 AM: Enjoy free time at the lake for photos and exploration.
12:30 PM: Descent back to Soraypampa (approx. 1 hour).
02:00 PM: Hearty buffet lunch in Mollepata.
05:30 PM: Return transfer and drop-off at your hotel in Cusco.
